1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PaperTradingApp (“we”, “our”, “us”), accessible at papertradingapp.com, including all content, virtual trading features, broker reviews, brokerage calculators, educational articles, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised Effective Date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use PaperTradingApp you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be a resident of India or be accessing the Platform for educational purposes related to Indian financial markets
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Not be prohibited from accessing or using the Platform under any applicable law

By registering an account or using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above eligibility requirements.

3. Nature of the Platform

3.1 Educational and Informational Purpose Only

PaperTradingApp is a free financial education and paper trading simulation platform. All content on the Platform — including trading guides, tutorials, broker reviews, brokerage calculators, market alerts, and virtual trading features — is provided solely for educational and informational purposes.

Nothing on PaperTradingApp constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading recommendations, or any solicitation to buy or sell any securities, derivatives, or other financial instruments. We are not a SEBI-registered Research Analyst, Investment Advisor, or Stock Broker.

3.2 Virtual Trading — Simulated Environment Only

The paper trading feature on PaperTradingApp is a simulation. Virtual funds (₹10 lakh provided upon registration) have no real monetary value and cannot be withdrawn, exchanged, or converted into real money under any circumstances.

Simulated trade execution, P&L results, and portfolio performance on our platform do not guarantee, predict, or represent actual results achievable in live markets. Real trading involves financial risk, emotional pressure, and market dynamics that a simulation cannot fully replicate.

PaperTradingApp makes no warranty that profits achieved in paper trading will be replicable in live trading. Users who transition to live trading do so entirely at their own risk.

3.3 Live Market Data

Our platform uses live or near-live NSE and BSE price data to power the paper trading simulation. While we strive to provide accurate and timely market data, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or real-time availability of this data. Data may occasionally be delayed, interrupted, or inaccurate due to factors beyond our control, including exchange feed issues, technical outages, or internet connectivity problems.

Users should not rely on the market data displayed on PaperTradingApp for actual trading decisions. Always verify prices on your broker’s official platform before placing real orders.

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Registration

To access the paper trading simulator and certain other features, you must create a free account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Keep your account credentials confidential and not share them with others
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

4.2 One Account Per User

Each user may maintain only one active account on PaperTradingApp. Creating multiple accounts to gain additional virtual capital, reset portfolio performance, or circumvent platform rules is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension.

4.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive or fraudulent behavior, or use the platform for any unlawful purpose. You may also close your account at any time by contacting us.

5. Acceptable Use

By using PaperTradingApp, you agree that you will not:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform, our servers, or any connected systems
• Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Platform using automated tools, bots, or scripts without our express written consent
• Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from PaperTradingApp without prior written permission
• Impersonate another person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or organization
• Post or transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, or otherwise objectionable
• Interfere with the operation of the Platform or disrupt other users’ access
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of any software used to power the Platform
• Use the Platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its performance

6. Intellectual Property

All content on PaperTradingApp — including text, articles, trading guides, broker reviews, tutorials, graphics, logos, brokerage calculators, page layouts, and the platform’s virtual trading interface — is the intellectual property of PaperTradingApp or its content contributors, and is protected by applicable Indian and international copyright laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the content on PaperTradingApp for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. This license does not permit you to:

• Copy, reproduce, or republish our content on any other website or platform without written permission
• Sell, license, or commercially exploit any content from the Platform
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices

If you wish to use our content, reviews, or calculators for any purpose beyond personal education, please contact us to request permission.

7. Broker Reviews, Ratings, and Affiliate Relationships

7.1 Nature of Broker Reviews

The broker reviews and ratings published on PaperTradingApp — including reviews of Zerodha, Groww, Angel One, Upstox, 5Paisa, m.Stock, HDFC Sky, Sensibull, and others — are based on our editorial team’s independent research, publicly available information, and general user sentiment. These reviews represent our team’s opinion at the time of publication and are subject to change.

Ratings and rankings are subjective assessments and may not reflect your individual experience with a broker. We recommend verifying all broker information, charges, and features directly with the broker before opening an account.

7.2 Affiliate Disclosure

PaperTradingApp participates in affiliate marketing programs. We may earn a commission when you click on a broker referral link on our platform and open a trading or Demat account. This applies to all broker links on our platform.

Our editorial independence is not compromised by these commercial relationships. Broker rankings and review content are not influenced by affiliate arrangements. Affiliate revenue helps us maintain the platform as a free resource for all users.

7.3 Brokerage Calculators

The brokerage calculators on our platform (including the Zerodha Brokerage Calculator and Groww Brokerage Calculator) are provided for informational and educational purposes only. Calculated results are estimates based on our understanding of each broker’s published fee structure, which may change without notice. Always verify brokerage charges with the respective broker before placing real trades.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

8.1 No Financial Advice

All content on PaperTradingApp is for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on the Platform constitutes financial advice, investment recommendations, or a solicitation to trade. We are not a SEBI-registered advisor or broker. You should always consult a SEBI-registered investment advisor before making any real investment decisions.

8.2 No Warranty

The Platform and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. PaperTradingApp makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of content, uninterrupted access, or error-free operation.

We do not warrant that: (a) the virtual trading results will be accurate or reliable; (b) the market data will be real-time or error-free; (c) the Platform will be available at all times without interruption; or (d) any broker information, reviews, or calculator results will be current or complete.

8.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable Indian law, PaperTradingApp, its owners, editors, authors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from: (a) your use of or inability to use the Platform; (b) reliance on any content, review, calculator output, or market data on the Platform; (c) errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in any content; (d) losses incurred in live trading following paper trading practice on our Platform; or (e) any unauthorized access to your account or personal data.

This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Third-Party Platforms and Links

Our Platform discusses and links to third-party paper trading platforms including TradingView, Sensibull, FrontPage, Neostox, and MoneyBhai. These are independent platforms with their own terms of service and privacy policies. Our content about these platforms is for educational comparison purposes only and does not constitute an endorsement.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, or practices of any third-party website or platform. Accessing third-party platforms through links on our site is done at your own risk.

10. Market Risk Disclosure

PaperTradingApp strongly encourages all users to understand the risks associated with real stock market trading before investing actual capital:

• Equity markets involve substantial risk of loss, including the potential loss of your entire invested capital.
• Futures and Options (F&O) trading is highly leveraged and carries elevated risk. Most retail F&O traders incur losses. SEBI data consistently shows that a significant majority of individual traders in the F&O segment lose money.
• Past performance of any strategy, stock, or market segment does not guarantee future results.
• Intraday and high-frequency trading strategies carry particularly elevated risk for inexperienced traders.
• Paper trading results do not account for slippage, liquidity constraints, emotional decision-making, or brokerage charges in live markets.

We recommend a minimum of 3 to 6 months of consistent, disciplined paper trading before transitioning to live markets, and consultation with a SEBI-registered investment advisor before investing real capital.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use and any disputes arising from your use of the Platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal proceedings relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PaperTradingApp, its owners, editors, authors, content contributors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of or access to the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party; or (d) any content you submit to the Platform.

13. Modifications to the Platform

PaperTradingApp reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature, tool, or section of the Platform at any time, including the virtual trading simulator, broker reviews, brokerage calculators, or educational content, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of services.
